Our Story

Here's a little about who we are.

Most creative studios have only ever been on one side of the brief. We've been on both.

Courtney has spent over a decade as the client - writing briefs, managing shoots, and sitting in the meetings where content either lands or doesn't.

Scott has spent nearly a decade behind the lens making it.

soli creative is what happens when both sides of the brief finally work together.

Courtney brings over a decade of social media and content strategy experience, with a career built almost entirely in travel, tourism, adventure, and hospitality.

She currently works full-time for a regional destination marketing organisation, and has spent her career managing social media strategy, briefing more content shoots than she can count, and - at one point - simultaneously managing social media for more than sixty brands across platforms, including adventure, outdoor, and experience brands.

She's also been on the other side - as a travel blogger who, during a daily three-hour commute early in her career, taught herself to build a website, shoot content, and write emotively, turning a love of storytelling into a fully-fledged skillset.

Meet Courtney

Scott is an internationally recognised photographer and videographer based on the NSW South Coast, whose work spans commercial campaigns and personal documentary projects across some of the world's most demanding environments - from tropical coastlines to snow-covered mountain ranges.

His path to photography started in Tokyo in 2016, in a camera shop under the neon lights of Shinjuku, where he picked up one of his first cameras and came home with something he hadn't expected: a new obsession.

What began as a creative pursuit evolved into a passion, and eventually into a career spent chasing the moments most people walk straight past. He has worked with clients including CamelBak, Polestar Cars, Unyoked, and Sunlover Reef Cruises, and also served as ocean videographer on the documentary Attacking Life.

His work has been recognised in international photography awards across multiple years and categories. Explore his full portfolio, including commercial and personal projects.
